Where I live

This is a picture I took from the Turner Network Operations building one night.

The deck overlooks the Downtown connector, where I-75 and I-85 connect for the

trip through downtown Atlanta.

I also like to garden at my house.  I'm not the best and I have a lot of shade, which
I'd never dealt with before, so it is trial and error.

I love to have a veggie garden, but all the shade makes it a bit hard.  Here in Atlanta, I have discovered Moore Farms.  They collect great local organic veggies, meats, cheeses and eggs and then you can buy one week at a time.  The Farmer's Pick box is only 20 bucks and the food did not come from Chile or Mexico.  I have nothing against lovely nectarines from Chile or Mexican vanilla (the BEST!), but I like a few things from around the neighborhood.

I must also shamelessly plug Freecycle.  It is a Yahoo groups list.  You advertise what you want to get rid of and someone comes and gets it.  No money ever changes hands and of course it is not for pets or illegal goodies, but it is a great place to get something for nothing!
